The Side Street Doormats

So, The Side Street Doormats.....

Well originally the band was set up as a joke, with the sole purpose to record a cover version of Shakira's song "Hips Don't Lie"..

So, they did that and in the process realised that they worked well as a band, they then began to rehearse in LOOP STUDIOS in Dublin.

Using their time in LOOP very well they wrote a selection of original songs, ranging from the Ramones influneced "The Barcode Song" to The FunkRock "Cash In/Sell Out"

The band spent a week recording in Sean's house and the recordings are are available on this very page!.

Summer 2008 update!: we are now drummerleass, but we're going to practice a bit more and write a few songs with Ger from The Resolutions filling in and then we'lll find a permanent replacement!
