The making (or lack of making) of G69

Day One: Today we practised in preperation for our recording. It was going really really badly till we got Mc Donalds and then we started playin amazingly well(like better than we ever had before). We worked on 2 of our songs for the EP and were looking forward to a day of recording tommorw. Then Sean left his parents camera in loop studios and they wont let us use his house to record. So basicly the faith of our whole EP lyes with the people in Loop studios. Me(Alan) and Sean are going into town at 9:30 tommorow to hopefully get it back and begin recording about 12, as planned. So already we have drama, now we just need to add sex to the mix and we'd have the story to a great film.

Day 2: So we(Me and sean cause the other fuckers were too lazy) got up early today to go into loop studios and get the digital camera in order to save the Side Street Doormats EP. When we got in it wasnt open and we were beginning to think our EP might be doomed, but decided to saty in till 12 and see if it opened then. So that left us with a good 2 hours to pass, during which I got a great Dropkick Murphys CD and we bought green hairdye and this spray stuff to spray on spanky. So then at 12 we got back to Loop studios and SUCCESS!! We got the camera!! So then we headed home and went to my house were I downloaded some software required to let us record and we headed over to the Artane roundabout to meet up with the other 2 dickheads. We knocked for spanky and he wasnt ready, then we rang brian and he was just up, so it took ages before we actually got to Seans house to start the EP. I was really tired so me and brian got expressos in centra(proffesional). So then we got to seans house and it took us ages to get his room clean, bring drums in ect ect. It was probably about 3:30 at this stage and we hadnt even started recording. Then we had problems with the laptop but finally got it working and worked on our untitled song about the barcode under 18 night and how Im really glad Im not going, it went fairly well, but then of course we got distracted and I showed spanky the 2 new videos for Doormat Tv while sean(unsuccessfully) died his hair green, so that took aaaaages. Then about 6 we were thinkin 'fuck after all that, we only got 1 song done!!) So we went into our re - working of an old (shockingly awful) resolutions song, which seemed to go well. About this time Spanky made a big dirty penis joke on front of Seans 12 year old sister, which was probably the highlight of the day. So bout 7:30 we called it a day and Me, Spanky and Brian went to McDonalds. And thats about everything that happened on Day 2. We dont know if we'll be recording tommorow or not yet, but we certainly will be heading to brians house for pancakes!!! There, spanky can play cards with Brians Dad and his da can say 'jesus spanky, ye get what you pay for with you, wanna game of cards? Sure fuck them, they're gay'

Yeah, Its not gonna happen, yet. the drums were too splashy so we're gonna wait and hire a studio!
