About us
We are a group of T.Ys from St.Pauls, Monasterevevin. We took part in the CocaCola Blastbeat Competition 2007/08. This involved us doin a whole load of different tasks by the end of each month and getting points for them. We hosted our own battle of the bands in December 07 and it was a huge success.

The year is over.
Thanks to everyone who supported us throughout the year especially Niall and Ruth from blastbeat and Miss Mullally our teacher. At the blastbeat awards we came 4th overall and we won the I.C.E. (Initiative, Creativity and Efficiancy) Award and Miss Mullally won an Outstanding Teacher award.
Thanks again to everyone and if there us another company from St. Pauls next year support them aswell.

Review of our Battle of the Bands!!
5 months agoOur first act to perform was James McDonald, a solo acoustic singer/songwriter from Portarlington. He played a diverse set including his version of Jonny Cash's classic 'Folsom Prison Blues', and got a great reaction from the crowd.
Next to perform were Tyfus, a five piece metalcore band from Tullamore. They really got the crowd going and started a massive wall of death!! Their heavy set included 'This Is Demented' and 'Blast'.
The third act of the night was Toxic Priests from Kildare Town, who performed to their usual hard to beat standard. Josh Whealan excellent on drums and Dave Nolan was on form with great vocals as always.
Next up were Weeping Silver, a four piece metal band hailing from our own Monasterevin. They got an UNBELIEVEABLE reaction from the crowd, performing 'I'll Pay You On Wednesday', 'Bleed The Skies' and 'Can You Control Us'... read on >>
