THE SILKEBORG CULTURAL REVOLUTION IS ONCOMING. SILKEBORG: THE DUBLIN FACTION OF THE BLACK PANTHER PARTY... Here is our story bittttcheeeees...It was 1973, and the Vietnam war raged like an angry walrus on fire. Private Sean Keating, Col. Gareth Fallon, Army Cook Davin Conaty, Tom Roseingreave, Ph.D, were engaged in combat to liberate the good Vietnamese. On a reconaissance mission, the 4 were captured and held in North Vietnamese prisons, tortured day and night. It was here that Davin began to sing to escape from this reality, and the North Phukelong-Blaskelett Barbershop Quartet were formed, later changing their name to Silkeborg. After the war, though all had various missing limbs and mental illnesses it was agreed that they would tour Cambodia and other South-Asian countries. During this time, Davin succeeded in bedding a "ladyboy", and after much court proceedings into soliciting a woman for sex, Davin and the disgraced band members decided to move to Ireland to further their musical career. We now live in a bedsit in Cabra, with our neighbours influencing much of our music: Djimon, living under us, and his animal-involving sexual practices inspired us to write the song "Let Me Out" about releasing his sexual demons and ignite me, inspired by Klookvanzouzel, a fire worshipper who lives in the attic.
