About Us

St Flynn and the Penes is the love child of band members, Deco(Bass/Creative Genius), Dara(Guitarist/Pimp), Rob(Keyboards/Vocals/Professional Ginge) and Kieran(Drums/Pianist/Lazy fuck Stain), named after the now departed Ste Flynn, American superhero, and all round king. We are his Penes!
Formed in early 2006 under the name Ste Flynn and the Penii, the band was forced to change the name after Ste himself fled Ireland after the persecution of nackers and scum who just couldnt appreciate his cool.
The band has many different influences, and has been described in many different ways and genres, post punk, jam band, alternative, psycodelic and so on in that fashion.
