About us

Resistance were formed in late September 2007, after meeting and jamming at the Border Arts Making Music Workshop. We are a 6 piece band based in the lonely hills/bogs of County Donegal!! We all have very different musical backrounds.......


Sarah: classical violinist/piano player,
Maeve: rock/pop singer,
Mark: crazy metal!!/rock drummer,
Phillip: rock bassist,
Aine: pop influenced singer,
Rhys: blues/rock/country influenced guitarist........

but we have one thing in common and that is a passion for music.
