it was a long f**in day for the LF. nine o'clock steve came to pick me up, i'd been asleep for an hour! got into kildare with five minutes to go for the train haulin pretty mush half the full band gear.
got into the voodoo at bout eleven after a quick stop off for a few pints of cofee an some brekkie rolls.
the voodoo is a pretty cool set up. after we got our back stage passess from the uber cool blastbeat brothers an sisters, an i explained how i left the 20 odd tickets i was meant to bring at home, we got changed into our stage gear. plaid shirts dungaree's and some of the most ridiculous trousers ireland has seen since the last prince gig were maybe a bit over doin it, but the LF have always been slightly spinal tap.
thats when the fun started.
A very cool blastbeat brother brought us outside to take some photo's. we are so the most ridiculous band i know.
i've seen less posing and power stances at a man o war reunion.
it was all we could do to keep our faces locked in grimaces of power and inspiration, cos we were dyin to break our bolox laughin at ourselves.
straight back inside then to play one of our tightest and most explosive gigs yet. lotta respect to all the brothers an sisters who came up to support us, includin the ones who got lost and didnt turn up!
as we were second on there was a lot of waitin around for the results but luckily for us there were a lot of interestin an really hardcore bands there.
at the end of a very long day for all involved in the LF crew, includin a new helpfull roadie:) we didn't win out full rite but we got through to the day finals so we still gonna make sure we win this thing, the national all ireland final dates are up and we really really would appreciate a lot of support seen as we're representin the kildare contingent of irish metal.

Played in the Leinster regionals today. Slkeborg won and we got through to the day final with Shower Scene. Might win this thing yet!
