Lead Guitarist Wanted

Lead Guitarist wanted for Bangor based Commercial Rock Band. We have been together for a few years and have played all over Northern Ireland (and even England). We have fans all of the UK and USA. For more information see www.myspace.com/heeltap or email us at heeltap@hotmail.co.uk .

Unfortunately Chris has decided to leave Heeltap so we are looking for a replacement ASAP. This could not have come at a worse time as good things are happening with the band atm. Not to mention we are going into the studio in about 4 weeks time to record a new EP with a producer who has worked with the likes of The Answer.

What we are looking for: -
• A great guitarist with plenty of technical skill and ability, preferably who plays in a Classic Rock, Commercial Rock Style (so if you compare yourself to Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi you’re on the right track).

• The guitarist must be able to pick up existing songs (including guitar solos and other lead phrases) quickly as well as being able to contribute to new songs and their solos.

• Obviously the guitarist must have their own guitar, amp (not a practice amp) etc.

• Age: late teens – early twenties

• Previous experience as a lead guitarist would be nice but not essential.

• The Guitarist must have a good amount of free time and be prepared to be very dedicated as this is not just for a bit of fun.

• Practices will be held in Comber or Bangor (Co Down) so the guitarist must be willing to travel to these places. So if you live outside Northern Ireland I don’t think you’ll be applying lol.
