About Heeltap

‘Heeltap’ are a four-piece Classic rock/Powerpop band from Bangor, Northern Ireland. Formed in early 2005 the band has played all over the country and has even stretched across the water to England. The band is mentioned in the media regularly and any comments from the newspapers and radio presenters are always positive, supportive and encouraging.

‘Heeltap’ has had a number of EP's and has taken part in their fair share of competitions. In 2006 the group won the “Ossia Battle of the Bands” for Northern Ireland (NI's most prestigious music competition). This rewarded them with a chance to record a brand new EP. Since then ‘Heeltap’ have continued to gain more than enough gigging experience by appearing in the country’s top venues regularly.

The band is always fine tuning their existing song repertoire as well as producing more fresh and exciting material regularly.
The group recently recorded their promotional album “Turn ‘The Tap’ On” at Blueroom Studios. Frontman, Brent Kelly, remarks, “Recording in the studio was great. It gave us a chance to sit back and listen to our songs from a whole new perspective. We were able to tweak parts and add bits in and we feel the whole experience has really improved us as a band.”

Through the two and a half years that the band has been together their passion and love for their music has been the driving force. Their commitment to each other, alongside their professional approach within the music industry has made Heeltap stand out from the crowd noticeably.
