DeFeX are a 4-student band from Naas, formed sometime in November 2006

Came about by two contrasting rival bands merging together to create some sort of super band that blow your brains with mind blowing funkadelic riffs that give you a tingle while you listen.

The Band:

S.O.B. - Lead Guitar
This guy's been playing guitar for a good few years now.. His love for John Frusciante is obvious. He has a very diverse style, in a way that he can play in mellow and soothing moods, and weird, yet funky and sensational, riffs

Ross - Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar
This guy's been playing a few years now and his talents could not be ignored. He just recently jumped into being the frontman, thus finding a new-found passion. He speaks down into the microphone in a tenor voice. His capability of improvisation on his rythemic guitar is also inspired by chilies. He's the type of guy who could sit on a crowded city street, jam away all day and not give two shits about the people around him,and probaly earn a hefty sum.

Cormac - Bass/Backing Vocals
bass is his new religion..this is all he needs to get by in life. He first played guitar in a band with SOB, constantly changing drummers and bassists. It was from this that Cormac decided to take up the role of bass and joined forces with Ross. He plays an aria Integra,tanglewood which he slaps, plucks and plays with, oblivious to the frequent blisters and bubbles popping up on his hands. His style is an in-your-face, fast pace bass. His playing is complex, not just backround beat. Inspired by RAGE and chilies and very much like Flea.

Colmo - Drummer
"He will hit you with his rhythm stick!" You could write a book on his drumming skills and unique riffs. His technique has given the band a lot more than just good beat and sound, but steady and skillful percussion.
