About us

HI..we're a 5 piece pop punk band called downhill. we come from tallaght along with bands like chewing on tinfoil and duck proof chimney. The band was formed by connor and dano after talking about blink 182...later Aido Cashin from duck proof chimney joined to make a 3 piece pop punk band with a generic sound that caught the ear and hips. It also caught us another guitarist named Al. Al was mates with the 3 lads and wanted to join the band and play music...(of course) shortly after Aido unfortunately left the band coz he was moving to mayo which sucked but little did the lads know a glimmer of light was about to show. 1 drunken night in a field in dun laoghaire, Al got talkin to a guy named shane, they both seemed to wanna work together in a band so al decided to get shane in to sing for downhill. With the approval of connor,al and dano, Shane was in and that was that..or so they thought..they still needed a bassist so dano picked up the phone and asked his cousin tim and he agreed..so there u go...One year Later we're still making music and having a laugh FOR MORE TRACKS ADD US ON MYSPACE www.myspace.com/downhillsux
