Rough Demo up!!!!!

4 piece metal band from Shannon/Doolin county Clare.recording a 5 track ep at the moment, will be done soon yeah!! :)

Vocals: Anthony Mc Donough,20years old enjoys writing and recording lyrics,music and working with photoshop.

Drums: Barry Shannon,17years old, enjoys writing and recording music.and also enjoys herding cows.

Bass: Steve Fitzpatrick,20 years old,enjoys writing and recording lyrics and music, mixing and mastering cds,writing books,collecting scale model movie collectables.hates spiders.

Guitar: Dominic Mc Inerney, 21 years old,enjoys writing recording music, also enjoys filming and edits live music events.

Well this band really started back in 2005 under the name Shamen Mensa.They won best original song in a Cys competition and played the glor music centre in ennis county clare to over 500 ppl! They continued to play gigs everywhere and anywhere until sadly after 2 years of rocking they decided to call it a day:( but... with every black cloud theres a silver lining! A new band was born.. called Censura.The band contained 3 ex Shamen mensa members, guitarist Dominic, bassist Steve and vocalist Tony.They all joined this brand spankin new band and added drummer Barry Shannon to the mix!. This at first caused a bit of a stir but everyone is on good terms now :)

Censura are a new band on the scene but have loads of experience. Censura are nearly finished their first 5 track ep which was written recorded and mixed by all 4 members themselves.... and it will be out very soon!

Influences

we each have too many but we try to not connect ourselves with any particular style or trend, we are just Censura, simple as! We want to be as original as possible and we really enjoy what we do:) so come to our gigs,check us out and we promise you a good show!
