i actually cannot wait im super excited YAY its gonna be such a EPIC day....and all our teachers are so behind us which is great and ms doyle(vice princapple) even wanted us to do the same music quiz we had for 1st years for second years yesterday which was so much fun...and then we had to clean the librbary so when we were done we sat in a circle and brainstormed it was brilliant....YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY

Our Ladys Crumlin Presentation
3 months ago=] Today we presented the cheque for €325.00 euro to our ladys childrens hospital in crumlin!
a guy came out from the hospital, Ruth came, and a photographer from the Echo came out too!!! it was deadly and Aisling made a little speech to the rest of our year telling them all about the expierience etc, and the man presented us with a certificate and a little medal to show the hospitals appreciation! he also told us that our money would go towards the refurbishments of the hospital i think, and that it meant alot to them all!
our TY interviews have also started and all the teachers are really interested about blastbeat, and we've been telling them everything so hopefully they might encourage next years TYs to do it!!! if me and jen havnt persuaded em already....haha
we had to talk to 3rd years a while ago and tell em what its all about...funfunfun!!!

Well we've been workin away on our table and all our ideas are like WOAH! At our last meeting we got sooooo Much done it was unreal! Like i must say im vry Proud of us all! :D Jus 2 giv u a taster we organised our charity and our donation, we have a controller coming out to thw school on Fri so we can present him wi a Cheque, we contacted 2 local newspapers- Lucan Gazette and the Echo who are sendin out photographers. We also hope to hold a small presentation for all TY students when the cheque will b presented. We're gettin a Giant Cheque aswell! [Jus 2 make it More Fun! ;)]
Anyhoo!... Back to the table! U guys beta b ready cos we're Breakin Out! Its gonna be so fantastically different and spectacular ur jaws will b hittin the floors! [we apologise in advance for the medical bills...]
Hopefully, a nice big crowd will be gathered so make sure ur der! We have lots of ideas bu im nt givin any away jus incase ders sum sneaky pplz! *shifty eyes* lol

REgionals!!!!!!
3 months agoon the morning of the gig sadhbh ais and myself went to the voodoo at about half 10 to drop back the cd's!! we dropped them off and gave a hand un-loading equipment off the van!! we went back to the voodoo at about half12 and met up with rest of our company and sold our tickets!!! The gig was amazing!!! it was really packed and started about half one!! the bands were deadly and it was a really tough competition!!! it went on till about 5 and cleared out quickly!! for me the best part of the gig other than doing mc was me and ais moshing!! it was really funny especially when i fell flat out on back!! all the people we went with said the gig was the best gig to date and they cant wait till the nationals!!!!

OUR QUIZ WAS AMAZING
3 months agoomg it went sooo well we made loads of money and all the first years had a brilliant time(pics up soon)!
we wrote out about 50 bands or singers names and gave them to the teams as there names so it would be easier for us!
Team "Scouting For Girls" won and were delited that they get to go to thte gig for free :D
we all just cant wait for the next one!!

5 months ago1.When and how was your band formed?
It was formed a few years back by Conor (guitar) and Daniel(drums) in a shed, then at summer 06 we got the new members Shane(vocals),Al(second guitar) and Tim(bass)and started to take things more serious wit writing and gigging.
2. What kind of things do you not agree on? And why?
We all love the same music, so we agree on same things most of the time when it comes to writing stuff etc.
3. What's the worst part about being in a band?
Seeing the other guys faces everyday! Hahaha… em.. sometimes writing can get stressful, or being in a studio recording can be hard too, but overall, we all love what we do.
4. Best part?
Playing a gig to people that know our songs, its the best feeling in the world, or if anyone you never met says you played deadly, that means alot too ,and our UK tour in summer will be fun, can’t wait for that, so traveling I guess too.
5. Do you get enjoyment out of playing live shows?
Damn (ha I changed that word) right we do, best feeling ever ,if you’re having a bad day or something ,then you play a show, it makes you feel so much better and happy.
6. Who / what do you rely on most when playing live?
Daniel the drummer, so we can keep in time. plus he is great.
7. What (in your opinion) is the most important thing about being in a band?
Getting along with each other, and not caring if people call you crap, because you always get people like that, so you have to learn to deal with it.
8. Why do you think people follow bands so religiously?
Don’t know, maybe their songs help them through bad things in there lives…
and they love the band for it? Haha…
9. Do you think it's a good thing?
yep defo, if it helps you out, then its all good
and finally...
10. Is there anything you would change about how you and your band are today, if so, why?
Nope, nothing, we play pop punk music, and it makes people dance and us too, so we are happy as it is...oh and Conor rules.

Album Name: Riot!
Artist: Paramore
The album was released on June 12th 2007, and reached number 15 on America’s billboard 200.
This amazing follow up to the bands first album, “All We Know Is Falling”, stays home to their original pop punk, power pop, rock, sounds, while exploring intrepidly into a more mature, well- thought out, style of music.
The tracks range from the fast moving oh-so-catchy, award-nominated “Misery Business”, to the soaring power- ballad “When It Rains”, each track showing the bands knack for writing classy, contemplative love songs, which one can not only relate to, but sometimes annoyingly get stuck in your head for hours.
All the tracks on this album, (though some are somewhat similar), show just how unique the bands sound is. They have been described as “pop punk” and “pop rock”, while also, and contrastingly, “Emo” and “Alternative”. Whatever their genre, they sure have produced a brilliant album and there is hopefully a lot more to come from Paramore!

6 months agoWe have set our date which is going 2 b the 22nd of Feb! We have our bands which include: Safe Destination, More or Less, Bravado, The Pistons, Downhill && Cardboard Toothpaste. And we have a special guest... Blue Syndrome! Doors open @ 6pm and it should start roughly round 6.30! Tickets are E8 and its E10 at the door! We will hopefully be sellin dem thru out the midterm and d week leadin up2 the gig! Make sur u ge ur ticket!! :)
