About Us

Starting back in 2004, going through a series of name changes, "Amoeba" was formed. Starting off as a three piece band, it has now become an improved 4 piece Classic rock band. Playing at several parties, gigs and winning a battle of the bands competition in ballymacward, "Amoeba" progressed to winning battle of the bands in temperance hall, Loughrea. We consist of four main members;
Jamie Harrison: Lead guitar and vocals
Seamus Keane: Bass and vocals
Conor O'Grady: Rythym guitar
Luke Mulvihill: Drums.
We play a mix of classic rock and are influenced by bands such as AC/DC, Guns n' roses, Thin Lizzy, ZZ top, Jimi hendrix etc.
