Well anyway, we've gotten loads of new equipment in the last few months including our own pa system, a new bass amp, lights, strobes, a loop pedal, microphones, cymbals, and I got a new effects pedal which I LOVE! But yeah we have pretty much everything we need to indulge in our creating of music. The addition of the loop pedal working as a recorder for basic demo songs helps a lot. So we'll have a few new songs up as we write them, and some songs that have not yet been recorded. Our most recent song is up entitled "Too Sad, Too Serious". And it's probably got my favourite lyrics that I've written for a song. They're about every friend that I used to have that stabbed me in the back and don't deserve a friendship! Angry lyrics, quiet(ish) music! I like that mix, or the other way around. Also, we have put up Shadow Of A Bolide which is our favourite song we've written, I think people who haven't heard it will like it (well I hope). For those who don't know, it seems to be going down as crowds' favourite song, it's a very full* song that I wrote. Heavily influenced by Muse and The Smashing Pumpkins I think it shows that you don't need to be a 5-piece band to write very powerful songs. We'll probably be on a bit of a gig hiatus with Shane and I being in 6th year but we'll still try get the odd one here or there and hopefully be back on the Dublin rounds during the summer. Spread the Ralph love and all that . Well I think this goes ok for a new blog so I'll sign off! Thanks to everyone who listens/likes/supports us or gone to one of our gigs! Or basically showing any interest at all!!! Toodles Andy *full as in lots of reverb and strong vocals and drums to give off loud dynamics
