Albyno Rhino formed in 2004 and are an indie rock band from South Dublin. They have played regular gigs in all the usual Dublin Venues and also in neighbouring counties.
After recording in Asylum Studios in October 2006, they released their debut single "Wasters in the End" to the masses in March 2007 which enjoyed airplay on PhantomFM, Spin103.8FM and TodayFM.
After a warm reception from the Irish media, they have since been cited as "the band to watch out for" for the remainder of 2007, by HOTPRESS and NME Ireland. The band worked closely with Top Dollar Artist Management from late 2006 to the summer of 2007 and they have been the subject of much A R interest for some months now.
The band launched their second 'radio single', "Masks" to a packed crowd at the 'Live in your Living Room' show in 'The Sugar Club' on 13th September, leaving their ever growing fanbase desperate to hear more from the band.
The indie 4-piece intend to record their latest material before May and hope to have it available in Summer 2008.
After encouraging media publicity throughout 2007, Albyno Rhino are now focusing on further development, both musically and commercially, with all 4 members determined to make 2008 'the year of the Rhino'
