Belvo Battle of the Bands

Ok about five months ago Barry came to each of our houses and asked us all to be in a band (good times). He told us it was for a battle of the bands in Belvo. I joined without the notion that we were going to get past the audition.
So about a month later we still had no songs written and the audition was in about five weeks so we had thought of doing covers instead of a cover and an original. Suddenly Barry rips this corny yet surprisingly catchy song out of his ass ('twas actually pretty good). So we get the song finished about a week before the audition. We went into the audition sceptically. We thought were truly fucked when we saw who went on before us... it was THE PHASES! (they are freaky good) We thought now that we were totally fucked!!
However we played Mardy Bum by the Arctic Monkeys (Wrong I might add) and our original, Metallic Man which btw everybody thought was a metal song before we played and have now renamed Addicted... read on >>
