The story so far..
The Calibre were formed admist the sunny, free love era summer of 2007 almost one year ago now in the beautifull calm relaxed spirited town of Skibbereen, Co. Cork. Since then they have gone on to get 'em up and out there and take there music(love) further a field to all possible location. And with your help they could even be in your town very soon ;)
Influences
Many genre's of music influence our music along with the msuic we're all listening to at a particular time. Nowadays its the likes of Pendulums Drum and Bass with Wileys Rap beauty! The futures chav!

Upcoming Shows people!
1 month agoHey everyone ( everyone who's bothered to look at this) Just thought we'd remind you of the upcoming shows we have lined-up so far for the rest of the summer and early August. If you live close to any of the gigs or feel like a bit of a road trip, please dont hesitate to come along!
July
First of this Saturdays(26th July) see's us battle it out in the Eurostar Talent Competition yoke in Timoleague. 12 of the 20 acts shall proceed to perform in front of a large live audience in the Timoleague Harvest festival dome in August. The prize consists of a lovely €1000 plus Studio time. For more info check gigs section/below or www.timoleague.ie
The following Tuesday(July 29th) we'll battle it out in another competition in The Gateway in Bandon as part of the Funky Fish's Song Contest with Burning Apathy, The Influence and Electric Gypsies... read on >>
