About us

Standoff is an energetic alt/rock band from South Dublin. We love to make music and we're constantly writing new songs.

Standoff were formed on the 15th of October, by Andy and Rory who wanted to see if they could jam together and see if they came up with any songs. As it turned out they jammed well and Andy began the song writing projects. We drafted two new people in, Aaron Brennan and Simon power.
(It should be noted that 'jam' is not a correct word any more. The proper word is 'coolness'. Accept this.)

We are currently working on our first EP. Everything will be re-recorded at higher quality before the album is released. Our last gig was at The Performance in the Vaults.
