Ha, I have no contacts! Or barely. I dunno. And no, I don't think Punx Picnic will affect the turnout because most of the people to it going are over 18 and don';t usually go to the CRIB gigs, or they're the people our age who just don't go to them.
I may have a bit of trouble getting in myself actually! Think I'm using the usual ID I have but it says I am 21 which isn't very convincing. I dunno, better work! Bought my ticket today. Yay!!

I'm afraid it was out of the question as I'm too lazy to walk down the road, not to mind say cross county carrying gear! Yeah, amsterdam's a laugh of a city, bigger than dublin, but it's as if it's turned on mute by day, nobody talks, very few cars, only bicycles! As you can see I'm making time for blastspace so no lonliness required! I'll be away until friday morning, Was at the red light district yesterday and didn't even notice, it's normal enough by day and I've no intention of being there by night! I'm afraid I must ask you where you got your information from though, have you been to holland? I tend to be up quite late myself, it's my thing to go to bed after 4 in the morning. Talk to ya again soon!
haha, nice one, pitchforks, perfect for defence against travlers of any sort! hahaha. Amusingly, 300 was the cheapest fare we could get for the day, we got quotes as high as 550. Meh, what harm can possibly come from being up late talking! hahaha, I have to stay up tonight, I've got a flight leaving for holland in the morning at 6 so I'll be heading to the airport at half 3! Amusingly after talking to you I'm getting more determined to find a way to play in sligo! hahaha, tiredness, aaaahhhhh!!! Sure, I know it's not the same but you'll know when we put some tracks up. It'll have to do while we find a place to play in your illustrious county!
We actualy paid 300 euros to a bus company to get to a gig in skibereen, which is about the width of sligo away from where I live, not that far really! T'was reduculous! Well cork does have it's fair share of gigs, it's just nowhere near as many as dublin. Sabotage the dublin music scene you say? You grab the lighter fluid and I'll get a chainsaw and meet me outside the G.P.O. hahaha!!!
Yeah Bandon youth cafe just kinda said please enough and people stopped swearing! There seems to only be a good quantity of gigs in and around the cities... And even then the most of those gigs are in dublin. I can't remember the last time I was at a great local gig.
Yeah the pub scene's pretty prominent dowh here too. Thank god I'm 18 next month and can go to them! A lot of underage gigs down here are organised just by people who want them and like get onto bands and find a place to have them! It's kinda cool seeing that determination! The biggest underage gigs providers though are probably the youth cafes, our closest one's not big on moshing but they allow it once it doesn't get out of hand. They don't like vulgar song content either, and obviously no alcohol but people can get past that!
Things are okay enough, could be better but I suppose that I still got the whole summer ahead of me.
Yeer music looks like it's gonna be great once ye've some recorded! Any plans to come all the way to Sligo ?

Yeah I'm supposed to be spreading the word about the Friday night Café thing too and I have a bundle of posters upstairs that need to be distro-ed in shops and stuff. I'm a crap PRO. Haha! But yeah, go to the Friday and Saturday thing!!
