Sta rted on 4th October 2005 as a name and an idle myspace profile, Ian was listening to a lot of stuff like Brand New, Death Cab, Bright Eyes, and old favourites Simon and Garfunkel and had started writing a lot of songs based around acoustic guitar and vocal harmonies. A few solo acoustic gigs followed, but that was becoming a bit boring.
After practising for and playing "Acoustic Goes Punk" with a bunch of solid dudes, Inflatable Gods took on new members and a new sound which keeps the original influences of Brand New, Death Cab etc., but also throws in a bit of pop punk. There'll still be an acoustic element to the whole thing too.
There will hopefully be a full band EP by the new year, so keep checking back!
