Hey guys! Listen, I'm looking to organise a charity gig in aid of Cystic Fibrosis. It's not gonna be easy because of the venues charging extra for All Ages (can't gain profit on alcohol etc.)
Basically I wanna stage it on a Saturday Afternoon at a venue in town (Voodoo/Dorans/Radio City coming to mind).
Not sure on what I would have to charge in yet, I'm just saying this is what I want to do because if it works well then it could be a new chance for bands to get a shot around Dublin. This is only hypothetical at the moment, just been toying with the idea.
I'd be looking for maybe 6 bands to play with us on the day, probably starting at 1pm til' 5.30ish.
It's a big ask but if you's are interested in getting involved then give a PM and we can talk. Obviously I wont be able to pay bands on the day, it being charity and everything. I'm a noob when it comes to organising gigs so if you can't do it but have some advice then it'd be most welcomed.
lads i understand but just a sec ago we got given a second stage so were gonna have acoustic sets going on in there wud u lads please do that! it wud be savage if u cud coz u dont need a drummer for that

I am in Siouth Africa, checking out 8 blastbeat gigs - and the scene here and will be here for the next three weeks
Its such s great country - I hope some day in the next few years to arrange for you to travel and play here - you would love it...around Cape Town is some of the most beautiful scenery / country side / beaches that I have ever
seen - and the people are great too...
Anyway things have been moving forward as fast as they can - the summer is a difficult to get things done in Europe as lots of people are on holidays and so on - but things are moving forward-
What about you - there is a blastspace charity gig on the 25th of August in Radio Coty that i understand you are playing??
Nothin defo yet lads but charity gig looks like 25th August in Radio City but before we commit do u no if u wud be able to sell 58 tickets at €10 a go! Or the best u cud coz radio city is expensive! So I’ll we’d all have to do our best promoting it as our back to school gig! I’ll get it filmed as well and get a dvd made for a few extra quid!

Hey guys! Listen, I'm looking to organise a charity gig in aid of Cystic Fibrosis. It's not gonna be easy because of the venues charging extra for All Ages (can't gain profit on alcohol etc.)
Basically I wanna stage it on a Saturday Afternoon at a venue in town (Voodoo/Dorans/Radio City coming to mind).
Not sure on what I would have to charge in yet, I'm just saying this is what I want to do because if it works well then it could be a new chance for bands to get a shot around Dublin. This is only hypothetical at the moment, just been toying with the idea.
I'd be looking for maybe 6 bands to play with us on the day, probably starting at 1pm til' 5.30ish.
It's a big ask but if you's are interested in getting involved then give a PM and we can talk. Obviously I wont be able to pay bands on the day, it being charity and everything. I'm a noob when it comes to organising gigs so if you can't do it but have some advice then it'd be most welcomed.

Its such s great country - I hope some day in the next few years to arrange for you to travel and play here - you would love it...around Cape Town is some of the most beautiful scenery / country side / beaches that I have ever
seen - and the people are great too...
Anyway things have been moving forward as fast as they can - the summer is a difficult to get things done in Europe as lots of people are on holidays and so on - but things are moving forward-
What about you - there is a blastspace charity gig on the 25th of August in Radio Coty that i understand you are playing??

Nothin defo yet lads but charity gig looks like 25th August in Radio City but before we commit do u no if u wud be able to sell 58 tickets at €10 a go! Or the best u cud coz radio city is expensive!
