Here at Audio Circus we discourage cyber bullying and all other means of bullying within school and our community.
Cyber bullying is a growing trend that is happening all too often nowadays on such websites such as bebo and even here on BlastSpace. And many social networking users are falling victim to this without knowing what options are available to them.
Most websites have support set up so that the bullies can be easily identified, reported and then blocked.
On Blastspace,if you or even if you became aware of another member falling victim to this you should report any such incidents to Michael or Robert along with proof of the abuse.
Also you can message Robert at blastspace1 and be assured that the problem will be solved almost immediately because there is such a strong communication between member and moderator.
We at Audio Circus encourage our memembers and our friends to report any such incidents and support Anti-cyber bullying.

Overall there are 38 memembers within Audio
Circus. With such a big group it's hard to give everyone a job title of their own but each memember of the Mini Company all share the same aspiration -
To win the Blast;Beat Mini Company competition and not only maintain but to improve upon our
schools reputation for sucess within the Blast;Beat competition, and to raise the standards for those partaking in the competition next year.
We also aim to promote our band,be it Mucky's Wall or Spitvalve and see them through to the National Finals on May 17th and hopefully enjoy success with them. Both bands,we believe are fully capable of bringing home the prize in their category.

On March 16th we held our main Battle of the Bands gig in the Half Moon Theatre.
The gig was very successful and left each one of us satisfied with the overall result of the day.
Although we would of been proud to call any the six bands competing on the day our own,it was decided that Mucky's Wall had come out on top, with Spitvalve only a few points behind.
Mucky's Wall automatically went through to the Regional Finals on April 6th but Spitvalve have now been announanced as the wildcard and will also compete for their place in the Nationals.
And we couldn't forget the other bands that played on the day.
The Appeal who came all the way from Waterford. They kicked off the gig in style and set the standards high for the rest of the day.
National Saturday who took second place in our November Gig also played.A very polished band who leave noone with any doubt of their talent.
Public Figure who welcomed two new memembers since we last meet them. They continue to grow tighter as a band and their following only grows with each gig they play.
Seude Halo who debuted on the day were the surprise of the day.Their set is clean and flawless and really show cased their potential on the day.
And our guest band Downhill who travelled all the way from Dublin to be with us.They brought a smile to all of our faces with their energy, on and off stage. An honour to have them playing with us.
Each band stood out in their own right but there can only be one winner and in this case one wild card.

***MUCKY'S WALL***
One word,WOAH!
Seriously these guys create some of the strangest sounds you'd every hear from instruments and at their tender ages they show up some of the big guns with their talent.
Ranging in ages from 15 to 17 it is very clear that these lads have all the makings for success and will go on to do greater things.
They have the whole crowd moving and singing along and are able to take full command of the stage with their passion for the music their making.
They even show off their dancing abilities in each chorus with only helps you to join in along.
They're confident in their genre ready to come out on top.
Tune in at http://www.blastspace.com/muckys_wa ll

They brighten up the stage with their presence and pull off some great sets almost effortlessly. With the crowd on their side they can do no wrong.
Ska influenced with a Trombone
and Trumpet they have the whole crowd dancing along to their songs and they enjoy every second of it.

*****The Gig*****
Was unreal!Coca Cola really put on an amazing show for all! Filled to the brim with everything polished and professional, with banners, decorations, crew shirts and best of all free coke!
Reminded us all of our gig, except with a Coca Cola theme. Each band was amazing, really setting the standards high for this year's bands. And who said girls dont belong in bands? Three out of the six bands playing included a female member.Including our own lil "skanker" Aobheann!
Each band really gave it their all, each putting on amazing performances for the sold-out venue! Even with people waiting outside for hours just to get in!
The atmosphere in the crowd was electrifying! Lose a shoe and everyone will lend a helping hand untill said shoe is returned to it's owner!
No fights,no ego,no attitude, one of the things that I personally love about Blast gigs. Its a friendly and open enviroment.
Our man Darragh MCed,as always, wouldn't be the same without him and his special knack for getting the crowd going, be it pinata-punching, or telling stories about South Park!
Rob,Ruth and Jon were also present, making the day all the more exciting, knowing that our mentors were there supporting us,the bands and other Mini-Companies.
And each got involved in their own way, heh!Go check out Robs photos from the day, makes for a good giggle!
Overall, an absolutley fantastic day was had by all present! Unreal bands, fantastic crowd, great venue and a buzzing atmosphere!

*** AUDIO CIRCUS AGAINST ANIMAL CRUELTY ***
At Audio Circus, we are passionate about worthy causes and overall admirable charity work.
But we feel strongly about cruelty to animals especially because we are very much aware of the strong association between animal cruelty and the circus.
We have made it our business in all of our art work, promotion etc. not to include any suggestion of support for the use of animals as entertainnment.
One of the reasons we chose our name, 'Audio Circus', is because we felt we could draw attention to the cruel and barbaric treatment of animals that is happening everyday, not just in the circus.
We hope you will join us in our support for Animal Rights and the combat of any cruelty towards animals

Blast:Beat so far...
I thought that I should post this where everyone would see it so I decided our profile would be the best place! I'd just like to say a few words about the Blast:Beat competiton and what it has meant to me and also to everyone else in our company!
When we began Blast:Beat in September we all started out not nowing what to do first or how to go about doing things! But that soon changed, with the leadership and guidance of our Co-ordinator Mr.Griffin and also our CEOs we managed to pull together as a fully functioning successful company.
I speak for not only myself, but for the whole company when I say that this experience has been thouroughly enjoyable for everyone! We have learnt so much from doing Blast:Beat, it has been so beneficial to our growth this year!
I'd like to thank Rob(of course) for creating the whole competition but I'd also like to thank Jon and Ruth for their support and encouragement throughout the year! We really appreciate all the time and effort ye all put into organising this competition.
As we near the end of the competition we all realise how much we've grown together since September! Through the tears and tantrums, the ups and downs, the highs and lows, we've remained as close as ever and we're still the tight-knit group that we were from the beginning! As Mr.Griffin said "We can see the finish line and now we need to sprint to the finish and continue to keep up our high standards"! Wise words if I've ever heard any!
A final thanks to everyone and anyone who's helped us this year, no matter how big or small their part was, without them we would not have succeeded in becoming the successful company we are today!
Jessica O'Sullivan
Sales Manager
At Audio Circus, Co-operation and communication are imperative to our company members; we see the importance in encouraging all our members equally and taking all ideas on board. Each member is important because “a team is only as good as its’ weakest player”. We belive everybody need a lot of self-motivation to achieve, but also some spurring on from others.. So here are some little sayings for when the going gets tough.
You can't fly a kite unless you go against the wind and have a weight to keep it from turning a somersault. The same with man. No man will succeed unless he is ready to face and overcome difficulties and is prepared to assume responsibilities.
William J.H. Boetcker
The greatest difficulties lie where we are not looking for them.
Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
When I hear somebody sigh that Life is hard, I am always tempted to ask, Compared to what?
Sydney J. Harris
Our greatest battles are that with our own minds.
Jameson Frank
If I were asked to give what I consider the single most useful bit of advice for all humanity, it would be this: Expect trouble as an inevitable part of life, and when it comes, hold your head high. Look it squarely in the eye, and say, "I will be bigger than you. You cannot defeat me.
Ann Landers
In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.
Albert Einstein
The true measure of a man is not how he behaves in moments of comfort and convenience but how he stands at times of controversy and challenges.
Martin Luther King Jr.
If not us, who? If not now, when?

Henry Ford

Mahatma Gandhi
NOTHING IS PARTICULARLY HARD IF YOU DIVIDE IT IN TO SMALL JOBS- HENRY FORD
So anybody in Audio Circus, or indeed anybody who needed a little motivation..We hope these help!
------------------------ ------------------
Blast:Beat is an amazing competition Ballincollig Community School T.Y. students have the luxury of competing in. Audio Circus members have all chosen to be part of this fantastic module, and therefore each member is as devoted to our company as the next.
We have outlined our company values, created a recognisable and so far, successful M.M.C which we pride ourselves on. We have created a brand image, a recognisable logo to which our patrons can immeadietely refer to upon seeing. We have, as all good company do, started from little more than a few innovative minds with an urge to succeed.
Throughout the course of the year we have all grown together, not only in our social and business skills but also as friends. Each and every one of us have encouraged each other along the way and although we have had our fair share of tears and tantrums, we have always stepped back up to the competition, brave faced, and confident in our company's ability to succeed beyond expectations.
Blast:Beat has provided an outlet for us, in which we can channel our creativity and nurture our persons. We have been able to organise and run our own successful and profitable events with many challenges along the way.
Each and every person in our company is a valuable individual, and a brilliant mind. Although there are outlined psoitions everybody is indispensible to us and out of the 38 minds in our company, everybody has given rewarding input and we have had some fabulous results.
Overall Audio Circus is thriving and although we have come a long way from where we started, we have a long way to go.
This is just to say a little thanks to all our members and say keep up the good work!

How are ye,
I´m really sorry about the lack of blogs but I think it´s time that we start a blogging mania because our blogging machine would remind you of a bloody engine that is faulty and will never start again!
I also have to apologise for not attending the recent ggig last Sunday. I had to work because I am now in Majorca and believe me, there is no place like home...... oh how I miss Ireland.
