Hi everyone, it's the annoying journalist again, who's prepared to write about anything.....absolutely anything! I now have such an adverse and strange topic for ye to feast your eyes upon! I suppose it's something that you'd expect me to talk about when you see it.....Wouldn't ye!

Let us talk about clothes. Something that you wear to impress people, boast off your looks, and of course, wear to hide your nudity! I love fashion, clothes, the whole ruddy shaaaabaaaang! There are various designers to choose from, for me anyway, such as John Rocha and Jasper Conan (there could be an r in there somewhere). The different designs are just simply to die for, and while I'm not one to wear anything, I will wear anything, and I mean anything from these two designers.

Going out to a party, a social night, a disco, Bingo? These clothes will definitely distuinguish you from the rest of the possee. I suppose we want to all feel kind of cool during the summer and this can only add to that feelng of coolness seeping through your veins.....oh we're full of ourselves, are we not!

Now, that's one weird and wonderful topic that I usually wouldn't write about! So there you are, it's breaking news from Audio Circus!

Exams are Over! - Journalist.

Hey to ye again,
I probably should of written this blog before my last one but do forgive me, as I'm all over the place today.

Whoooopeeee! The exams are finished, finito, au revoir, auf wiedersehen.....gone! Thanks be to God! What a stressful 3 days it was. And guess what, once again I didn't perform to the standards that I should of done.
I'm definitely not in the Honours Maths class next year, ironically enough, I didn't do too well in music and German was a ruddy disaster! Apart from that, everything was fine. I just don't understand why we only got an hour and a half for each exam when two hours would of been great for me to actually finish each exam. The exams started at 9 am and were supposed to finish at half 10. Of course, the teachers start to collect the exam papers at 10.25 and the rustling of the papers begins to distract you, and all of a sudden, you just put your pen down in frustration, while everyone else hands up their paper in glee. For the exams that actually finished at 10.30, I was still writing, so no luck there, while everyone else seemed to be finished ten minutes before me. And of course, then came the paper that I was worried about, Irish. This turned out to be my best exam, and I managed to finish it at 10.25, so I said oh goody! just 5 minutes to wait. Then the clok striked 10.30 and people were still writing, so then came 10.35 and 10.40 and for the first time ever that I managed to finish an exam before the rest of the possee, everyone else gets extra time! Now come on! That is more than a coincidence, surely!

Hey folks,
Please forgive us for the blogging machine being so slow. I think Lisa and I have just fixed it.

Anyway, Blues can be described as a type of music, or something you feel when you are going through something. Everybody looks forward to summer each year, as school is over and we (in Ballincollig anyway) are off for three whole months. There are holidays in the sun to look forward to, in this country, rain to look forward to, and an overall break from the daily hustle and bustle of school-life.

However, it can get unbelievably quite boring, as I now am already finding it! I know the holidays have just started and all but like every year, it does begin to drag on and on. This is when everybody goes ape! Fighting! Screaming! Crying! We all start to behave like babies, and in my opinion, rightly so! I wonder what the teachers get up to! If we're like that, they can only be worse!

Don't do anything too wild this summer but don't drive yourself to death of boredom either!

Yo, yo, yo to all my fellow Blastspacers.

I can't believe the school year is literally over already. Now, I know I'm in Transition Year (and what a year it has been) but there is always a downsider to things to be contended with. I know you are reading this blog and thinking that I'm a super swot ( and I take that as a compliment!) but these exams I take as quite serious.

We've done a phenonemal amount in Transition Year, probably a bit too much. In Maths, we already moved onto Honours Leaving Certificate Trigonometry (not a nice topic I can tell you), in Irish, our teacher thinks we are already in college studying an Honours Irish degree, and in English, we've almost already studied 1/3 of the English poetry course ( 2 poets and 9 poems), read a novel and completed a film study. It has been tough and what's worse still, our school is apparently one of only four schools in Cork that have Transition Year exams.

However, I believe that this will benefit us in the overall Leaving Certificate because we won't have to cram it all in in just two years like most other schools would. It's going to be intersting this time around in exam world, while the teachers are dancing around a cauldron, as the level of committment by most students towards study has unfortunately dropped with all of the other activities going on in our year. Now, this is my chance. I've been studying all year round, and I've never done this before, so I have to do well surely. What drives me cuckoo though is that students who talk, talk, talk, and have no consideration for others in their class, are sometimes more intelligent and will be able to cram in all their study into one weekend and get away with it while the dedicated student will suffer. You see, there is massive competition for the honours maths class next year and I can do maths well but always do arseways in the actual maths exam. I just hope that myself and the other students who put the work in get what they deserve! Come to think of it, I better get in after doing some honours maths already and working hard at it!

What a great job we've done! I'd never would of thought at the start of the year that we would be going international!
I know that it may sound like I'm being full of it and boasting, and what have ye but we here at Audio Circus are over the moon. I will officially never leave my post of journalist for as long as I can because I'm having a ruddy great time! I hope that I won't continue to bore ye and that my articles might be close to interesting!
5th year is up next. How time flies! It just goes to show that we all enjoyed it immensely.

Id just like to say well done to all the MMC's that took part in the Nationals on Saturday!! ye made the whole experience so much more enjoyable!! i really cant believe yesterday..i have sooooo many funny stories!!!!!!!
when i heard we won everyone just went MENTAL...i half cryed,fainted and laughed at the same time!! while screaming!..it was just unreal!!.
dressing up was such a good idea !!
we soo had the best costumes!!!myself,daniel and amy were so convincing in our get ups that random people actually asked us seriously if there was a circus in dublin city..!!and asked for details!!
and the companys from the other schools were just sooooo nice!!!..Surreal Sounds--> So Sound!!.myself,amy and daniel ended up having subway food at a table with them outside the tripod...omg do not try to find a subway in dublin...my feet were killing me!!haha
i have soo many memories!!
totally best day this year!!!

O my gooooooood....lads i actually can't get over it!!! What a day we had yesterday-I can clearly say that the whole day was one of the best I have ever had. All the hard work that we have done through the year, all the little banter's we had with each other and with other people(!!!), it all paid off last night when they announced that we were the winner's of Blast:Beat 2008! I must admit the competition was unbelievable in the Tripod, all the presentation's were brilliant and I was worried sick for the whole day wondering had we done enough! But all the MMC's that were in the competition with us really do deserve a pat on the back aswell-ye're mighty!! Also can I just say a maaassive thanks to Mr Griifin, our co-ordinator, Mr. O Toole who helped with the stand and the EOTYP and Miss Barrett who came up for support!! Also Thanks to the 5th years..lads ye were the best role model for us and we really did follow in yer footsteps! I'm actuallu over the moon now...roll on the internationals!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D

Oh my dear god.
Im still replaying it in my mind over and over again.
The amount of work we put into this year.
We put our blood,(literally),sweat and tears into this competition and getting recognised for our work?Its absolutely amazing,it really really is.
Yesterday a couple of us were bawling our eyes out because we thought we wouldnt get it,we really believed our school would not be allowed to win again.We even left because we got so upset.
Our presentation was aboslutely amazing,although we couldnt erect the marquee,use the spinning wheel,open out the side panels,put up the projector or do the competitions,it still was abosuletly amazing.It really got put together in the last couple of days and i didnt expect it to turn out so well!And our costumes
Im abit flustered writing this because theres just so much to say so ill just have to break it down and blog it out later =]
A sincere thank you to Robert,Jon,Ruth and Neil.Your support and faith in us during the competition was so encouraging to us.We really could not thank you enough for yesterday.
Winning the 5000 euro,our 3 indivual awards and representing our country in the International finals?Thank you so so much.Everyone of us is so proud to have that responsibility set apon us.

Yo, yo, yo, Greggy here is in a hyperactive mood,

I couldn't agree more with what David said. But to be honest with ye, for me the Gaisce trip was an absolute disaster. Don't get me wrong, I was delighted that we finished the 25 km. but in all truth, I think too much was expected of us. We were under the inclination ( and were told) that food was going to be provided). We were told a little white lie here! A little lie that I thought was going to be the death of me. I've had food poisoning before and thanks be to God, I'm not enduring the experience of it again. The pasta that myself and my team,Michael (Finance Manager), Keith (Marketing Extraordinaire) and Christy (I.T. Wizz) cooked over the rather strange-looking stove was close to tasting like one of us had urinated on it. Obviously not nice, especially when the midget flies decided to go for a swim in it.

Before this, we had to put up our own tent. I was surprised that we managed to do this so quickly because I can't seem to understand the simple things in life and had to ask questions like : "Where is the opening of the tent?" To be honest with ye, I'm surprised the other three didn't snap at me for how stupid I was being. After eating our vile food, we had to hang around the campsite, so most of the others played pool in a small rectangular room. I just watched. (Not knowing how to play it.....Just kidding!)

Anyway, while the others were gathering around the tents at 11 o' clock, I decided to try to get to bed early. Now, I forgot my torch back at Cappanalea (I forget yet again), so I had a fierce time trying to get my sleeping-bag open. Thankfully, the others were not in the tent to see me going through this because I opened it all wrong and slept in it arse-ways. It took me ages to eventually get to sleep but I kept waking up every hour or so, and this did not help after the long 15km. walk around Kerry we had gone through! My eyes were blood-shot at 7.30 the following morning, and I had a surprise visitor in my sleeping-bag, a beetle who decided to start to crawl up and down my legs. I think ye can predict what happened next. When we were packing everything away to set off on our uphill 10 km. walk ( Oh whooopeee!), I of course experienced difficulty packing my sleeping-bag away, so when nobody was looking, I stuffed it, unrolled and huge, into the camping-bag, along with the tent that I was carrying. Use your imagination.

Now when all this was finished and we had arrived home, exhausted, dehydrated, and completely delusional, some of us still managed to come in to school the next day. I was talking to Cha Cha Ching and of course, he told me to stop winging about it and started to give me an in-depth post commentary report of the Uefa Cup Final of the night before. At this stage, I just wanted to collapse. So anyway, first class was English. Now, nobody could predict what was going to happen next. The teacher looked at us and told us that we have an essay test to complete in 40 mins. which will count for a certain percentage of the summer exam. We looked up at her blankly and realised she was serious. Oh! Dear God! I hope to have done reasonably okay in it. This teacher is definitely my fave though, as she was one of the only teachers who let us out of class to work on Blastbeat. After all, it's our fault that we signed up to exhaust ourselves. We actually had to pay 125 Euro for this!

I have to say a massive thank you to Miss Barrett and Ms. Gallagher who were really sound out on the trip and never spoke down to us. It must of been tough on them aswell.

Anyway, bronze award under our belts, I'm definitely going for the silver award. I did not do this for nothing. Silver is a nicer colour, anyway.

Hi everyone, I just can't wait for the National Finals this Saturday. Once again, I've gotten myself into an embarassing situation. I am going to be a mime-artist. Thankfully, I'm not the only one dressing up. Now, usually mime-artists are trapped in a glass box and trying to get out. Now, obviously there won't be any glass box but due to forseen utter nerves and embarassment, I'll be escaping from the actual blastbeat complex, never mind a bloody box! Go ahead, laugh at me. Sure that's what is supposed to happen anyway. I just hope that your laughing at what I'm doing, not at me.

We Should Have A Say - Company Journalist.

I am presently 16 (and have never been kissed but that is besides the point). I am in Transition Year and have been working my socks off more than I probably should be doing this year, along with the rest of the Blastbeat team. I personally have done more work than I ever did in the Junior Cert. Now picture that when I did actually study mad!

My point is that a lot of adults seem to take us young people for granted. We work, work and work and all most of us seem to get in return is more work! I know that there are some really stupid teenagers out there who are making life a living hell for a lot of people but it is important to realise that there is hidden message behind this carry on, it could be described as 'a cry out for help.' This minority are making it bad for a majority of us youngsters and it always happens that when a hopeless, innocent teenager struggling with family issues, sexuality, bullying, etc.,gives into peer pressure and takes a sip of a drink to please others,they are the ones who get caught and not the other wild party animals,who get away with it.

I know that our parents probably just want to protect us but when they blame us constantly for things that possibly is not our fault, keep a constant eagle-eyed view on their so-called 'little darlings,'and give out to us for not going out, I have to say they need a reality check and wake up to the 21st. Century. Teenagers lead a different life to what most of our parents lived back in their day and while some problems, such as corporal punishment may be gone, new problems have arisen.

With me and some others I know, at home it's all about study, study and more study, parttime work, parttime work and more parttime work! As I keep telling my parents, I am sixteen and want to live a bit of the rest of the remaining days of my childhood. Us teenagers need to be able to socilaise more, have more fun and do things for ourselves. Now I know that some teenagers have these luxuries but not all. Just think about the future - You are sixty-five years of age and want to look back on memories of your days as a youth, and all you have to celebrate is a picture taken of you writing a 1,000 word thesis for the Leaving Cert.

Now I know that the Government has had a re-huffle recently but never in my life have I experienced so much grumpiness on men and women in my life. The only two ministers that I think may look promising for the future are the Tanaiste Mary Coughlan and the Minister for Youth. (Sorry, I forgot your name lol!) But come on, from what I gather,myself and other teenagers know way more about the Lisbon Treaty than any adult I know! What are most of these adults going to do, vote yes, as that is what the major parties want. I would vote no because I think that farming would be badly effected and Europe will have way too much power over Ireland. Adults voting for this and don't realise what they are voting for could pose a major threat to the future generations of Ireland. I think that the voting age should be lowered to 15. See how they like it then!

On a final note, parents and adults tell us that we influence the actions of our younger siblings. So who exactly influences us? Our parents of course. But most of them just want to take credit for the good achievements in our lives and not our mistakes. I always think of this example: A parent who drinks says: " This glass of wine has relaxed me after today's stress!" Remember some of us youths take this on board and take this as an example.

Well another uefa cup final as Zenit st petersburg against rangers, zenit a Russia team beat rangers 2:0 after a very tight game. Rangers played their usual 9 defenders game hoping to get to penalties but zenit has other ideas they control the game and bombarded Alexander(rangers keeper) with shots but still couldnt score.After the first half zenit still attack rangers as rangers still defended very tightly. Cuellar defended well against teke.Then it finally came a through ball came to igor denisov and he cooly slotted home, zenit fans went crazy as they have finally scored a goal, Ranger fans was very dissapointed.zenit 1:0 rangers. Walter smith made changes to rangers, nacho novo, lee mc culloch and kris boyd came on to sharpen the attack. They caused some trouble as rangers sprayed long passes into the zenit penalty spot, then the chance came as a cornor kick falls into the zenit penalty box somehow nacho smash the ball high as rangers had missed their chance to equalise. Zenit hit another gal to kill off rangers as this years uefa cup winners are zenit after the past two years it was seville. FOOTBALLMAD EUGENE

WE ARE SOOOOOO EXCITED right now......only 3 days until the Finals!! Its unbelievable. We're making all our last minute adjustments to everything in anticipation of Saturday....even without the bulk of our company (most of them went on a 2 day walk for Gaisce) myself and a few other members managed to get a lot done!
I personally cant wait to meet all the other schools and swap anecdotes(haha)...seriously though we want to chat with EVERYONE and hear about their Blastbeat experience.

GOOD LUCK to our AMAZING bands SPITVALVE and MUCKYS WALL....all i've got to say is.... G'wan the boys and make Cork proud!!! We know ye will!=)

We can officially say that the Blast:Beat National Final's are less than a week away. Every member of the company are so excited to trvel to Dublin and showcase all the work that we have been doing over the past year. As I said though, we have only a week left to finish up all the reports and get the display into place. I am not allowed to reveal to much...or give anything away but if everything gets finished and all goes to plan, I can imagine that the display is going to be out of this world. Just say a quick well done to everyone...So much time and effort has been given towards this and hopefully it will all be worth it in the end!!

Finance Manger: Debating All Over

Myself and Aisling Murphy yesterday went up to Trinity in Dublin with all our supporters (researchers + laughers. We watched the first semi final and saw that there was tough competition, then it was our debate and we were against a school from Gort. It was really close and it could have swung either way, but we were delighted to hear that we had won that round.

Then onto the national final and we did really well in that round, our scientific facts blew them away and we answered all the questions thrown at us really well. The other team were really good and it was a tense moment when the judges were finally going to make their decision after a long deliberation. We couldn't believe it when we won. I've never won anything before in my life.

So, it kinda took over from blast beat for me last week because i had so much to prepare but now it back to the double B in prepartion for the finals next week.

Dublin seems to be the hot topic at the moment, does it not? Anyway whether Michael and his teammate, Aisling (from 5th year and who was one of the main reasons behind Criminal Record's success last year), win or lose, they deserve great credit. They have done Ballincollig Community School proud. Michael could definitely be a contender for the finance ministerial plot in the near future with his leadership and money skills.

And a hello to you my fellow clowns,

I wanted to title my blog with an eye-catching phrase and here, presto, you are now reading it!

I am delighted! Hollyoaks is officially a watched soap. It turns out that I'm not the only one ranting and raving about it, as it shocked soapland as it picked up 6 awards last night for the first time ever. Yes, I know that Eastenders won the Best Soap (it usually does) but the fact that we only had one award less than Eastenders, beat Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Doctors for the first time also, shows that Hollyoaks could be the next best soap in the near future with brilliant storylines lined up. The show's producer, Bryan Kirkwood ( I think that's his name!) has done a fantastic job since he came three years ago pulling in the viewers from 1.4 million viewers to 4.6 million. That deserves constant applause. It picked up the awards for sexiest female, most dramatic exit, most dramatic scene, best on-screen partnership, best actor and best actress. That is phenonemal. I have to say a definite congratulations to Emma Rigby winning the best actress award for her portrayal of a teenage girl struggling with anorexia! She is definitely a credit to the show. What can I say, Dancing on Ice superstar Chris Fountain winning best actor. Ya-Flamin'-Hoo!

Well done to the other soaps, Coronation Street's Vera Duckworth was remembered when her actress received a lifetime achievement award. Emmerdale's 'cot death' storyline deservedly picked up an award also.
I just hope that Doctors gets an award next year because the acting in it is terrific and it must be getting quite boring for them not to win an award when they deserve one. There were 17 awards on the night but I'd be up all night trying to account for all of them precisely. Who or what exactly do you think I am? And besides, I have 50 German verbs to contend with. Grant me patience and a life now!

I also dedicate this blog to Cha-Cha Ching (Eugene) because he hates Hollyoaks (because I love it). It's one of those friendships where I say black and Eugene says white. Sure, what can we do?

I thought since everyone has been working so hard over the past few weeks I would give my motivational speech through a blog! It goes a little something like this:
Guys, we've worked so hard this year, giving every project 110%, we can't slack off now! If anything we need to give 200%, we all know in our heart of hearts how much work we have put into Blastbeat so far and it would be a shame to fall at the last hurdle...but I know that won't happen to us as we have a team of people dedicated to the cause! What is this "cause" you may ask...well its winning Blastbeat and also supporting our bands in the hopes of their winning! We're all beavering away at the presentation doing our designated jobs, and as far as I'm concerned, we're working better than ever! We need to do this guys, not only for ourselves, but for every individual that has supported us this year including (of course) the wonderful Mr.G whos been there for us all this year!!! So lets make him proud and take the gold...we know we can do it...so all we need is a little bit extra from everyone over the next 9 days and we shall rest assured that we do deserve to win!=)

Well, today was jammerz with success in the form of Audio Circus! Firstly we got our second batch of tickets, then myself, keith, clare and sarah stayed after school for 4 hours...ya you heard me 4 hours...to do work on our presentation! Its coming together really nicely though in fairness! Also megan, sarah om and marian went into to town after school today to do some purchasing for Audio Circus and after a confusing phone-call all was right in the world of Audio Circus! We'll keep you updated on our progress but we're so busy these days its hard to tear ourselves away from the work, but of course we make time!=)

Again, I've been torn away from Blast:Beat this weekend and was dragged kicking and screaming, by my parents, to Dublin! Not much Blast:Beat work was done by myself over the weekend but I do know that the company kept ticking along in my absence. Needless to say I jumped right back into work the second I arrived home yesterday. Doing painting and some other secret "Nationals attire" business! Our presentation is looking spiffing and basically we will be putting our final touches this week! Loads more work to do and dedication is the key! Myself, Sarah, Clare, Keith and a few others have been staying behind for hours to work on our presentation...we really are literally putting our blood, sweat and tears into this presentation as we do with all our endeavours so I hope it shows to the Judges, Jon, Ruth, Rob and everyone else that will be in the Tripod on the day!=)
Speaking of the Tripod.....only 10 days until the Finals...I'd like to take the chance, again, to wish all our fellow MMC's and of course all the bands the best of luck in the competition!=)

I have been working side by side with Becca in most of the projects for the National Finals. We were originally assigned to organise Hoodies for every member of the company, but in the end we decided to leave that idea hidden away for the moment and thought of a new idea instead which I am not allowed to reveal too much about! But our Blast:beat time has mainly been dedicated to that project in recent weeks! Aside from that we have started the display boards for the presentation. They will soon be filled with reports, pictures etc. Then of course, we have been putting together some other reports from the year to have on display at our stand. Becca has been doing great work over the weekend but I keep reassuring her that we are on top of it all and have most of the projects under control. Everything is going smoothly...so far so good(touch wood!)

At the last company meeting we Mr. Griffin showed us a rough financial account sheet for Audio Circus taking into account all the profit we've made over the past year, money that will be going to charity at the end of the year etc. Considering that we would like to contribute as much as we can to all the charities like 2win aid and Marymount, we decided to set a budget for all the expenses coming up to the end of the year!:D And there we have also decided that since everyone in the company is working on a different project and spending so much money on different bits and pieces, before we go off track altogether...all the expenses now "have to go through Michael!!" This will definitely help us all see sense because it's so easy to go shopping with somebody else's money!! Now we have more financial structure and will only get what we don't already have and what we need!

Hi folks,
I think I should give ye some helpful tips on how to find luv! I haven't found myself a boyfriend yet (no jokes please), so maybe I'm not exactly the relationship expert but don't underestimate me, I know what I'm doing. Hee-hee-hee!
1. Above all, make sure that you actually like the person first and that your future partner likes you too.
2. I know that it is hard to find out if the person likes you but this brings me on to my next point, maintain that great feeling of eye-contact, no matter who else is around them. Don't look away each time the person looks into your eyes because this will only lead to confusion and lack of interest.
3. As a boy looking for a boy, it's kind of hard to ask a guy out, and trust me, there has been so many times that I've wanted to but as I've been told by my youth leader, ask the boy does he want to have a coffee or go to the cinema. The same can apply for ye straights as well. Make sure that you don't publicise this great event of your life too much. This sounds much better than : "Will you meet me?" I think ye all might agree with me here.

Another Project this week was sorting out what the company are going to wear up to The Tripod on May 17th! As Mr. Griffin keeps reminding us, it's all about the end of year presentation and the image we have that shows off how successful we have been for the year. Now, I'm not aloud to reaveal too much so to see the finished product ye'll just have to come visit us in Dublin. The outfits hopefully will turn out well now...and with the clock ticking we have to get a move on!!!!!!!

Everytime I write a blog, the National Final's are just closer and closer! Well this week really has been hectic on the Blast:beat front.We all started the displays for the National Final's and I must say..they are not even nearly finished yet but they are looking good!:) Then we had the student/teacher socecr match yesterday. Can i just give DAVID a massive pat on the back..It was a huge success! Myself and Jen wr selling tickets to the 1st year classes and I'd say 90% of the students bought them. The envelope was over-flowing when I went back into the classroom! The weather was gorgeous, the teachers were gorgeous(!!!!) so we all had a great time! For the past few weeks, I have also been working on reports that I can bring to the National Final's with me...and I finally finished the first one today. So i'll get Mr. Griffen's opinion on that first thing Tuesday morning!:D As i said..it's been a successful week and I can only imagine that next week will be the same!

Street Kings (Film Review) - Company Journalist.

Hi folks,
Here's another film review for ye.

Anyway, about two weeks ago, I went to see Street Kings. It starred Keanu Reaves, the fire guy from The Fantastic Four, who was definitely the best in it. You'd think I'd remember his name but once again, I forget. It also starred Hugh Laurie, Forest Whitaker and Sucre from Prison Break. Anyway, lets get down to the facts, it was directed by the script-writer of L.A. Confidential, who's name also escapes me and this film is apparently very similar to it. Keanu Reeves was the lead and wasn't all that impressive in the role of a dirty cop who is suspected of murdering a colleague of his.
Hugh Laurie in a serious role still managed to provide a few laughs but something which drives me nuts about Forest Whitaker is that everything is an emotional frenzy for him in each and every film that he's in. Sucre was reasonably good in his new role also but this violent, foul-mouthed film was all too predictable and disappointing. I don't want to give away the ending but it wouldn't come as a surprise to ye at all if I did.
The film seemed to drag on for a 1 hr. 54 mins. duration and I left the cinema in glee when it was over.
Don't waste your time going to see this film. At best, it gets a 6 out of 10 stars from me.

Todays Student vs teachers soccer match was the funniest thing ever ..i didn stop lafin..
At period 7 myself and beca went around to 4th year classes and sold them tickets...per usual we had a few chancers tyrin to get free 1s but no1 was gettin past us witout buyin 1...!!
Den i brought the water bottles outside..
At half time i supplied the students team with dem and gav dem a lil team talk ....
And i got my second to shine nd i stepd on the pitch as a sub wile one of d players came off 4 water bt d ball didnt come my way..:(
It was a great event and hope we raised alot for chairity as there was a great crowd on the pitch which ment lots of money...!!

Student vs Teacher Soccer Match!!

Well if you werent at the student teacher soccer match today outside on the astroturf you really did miss out!!Some special teachers in tight shorts . . . . . why would you complain!!Well im ashamed to say that BCS' Eurofoot soccer team lost 5-2 to the teachers, with two or three (not too sure because i stopped paying attention after halftime) cracker of goals from Mr Griffin who was taking the match today pretty seriously!!(Clon are lucky to have him):D:L We charged €2 for students in 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th year to see the match and before it started people were sent around to all the classes to collect the money!!There was a lot of people, and i mean a lot, at the match and i can guarantee Michael has a big grin across from all the money we collected!!:L:D

I'm part of the group who are supposed to be going to Paul Street selling tickets on Saturday. Now, I'm supposed to be doing something that will embarass the hell out of me (no questions please- you'll find out on Saturday). Now, of course, like usual in my world, not everything goes according to plan. I was supposed to give Ciara or Amy a white shirt this week, so that they can paint black stripes on it (There's a clue for you). However, poor ole Greggy could not find them. So, if anyone is reading this blog and knows what time I'm supposed to be on Paul Street at, please write a blog about it cos I'm going to be goosed if I turn up on Paul Street on my own, with no tickets, dressed in a white shirt and fine, I'll tell ye all, do a miming act for a few hours! Now, I'm in need of this urgently, so no talking about the weather, or what day we are going into Paul Street cos I know all that. Just a time please.

Hi everyone,
First of all, like our always reliable Michael said, a whopping well done to David Alton for organising the match today.
It was like stealing candy from a baby for the rest of the team. It was so easy making fun of those teachers out on the astro-turf against our year's soccer elite. I had to bite my tongue when Mr. G fell over during the first half because it was possibly one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. He made up for this when he scored a few phenonemal goals. Also, watching our P.E. teacher constantly hitting it over the school roof nearly had me in stitches because he is the one who always tells me that I need to improve my soccer skills (no offence sir). Mr. O' Sullivan and our vice-principal, Teddy Kennelly (known as Ted) were receiving great support from the crowd and they definitely deserved it. Mr. O' Toole, like wow, and their keeper was quite good. One of the teachers (wearing a no. 25 shirt) was keeping a steady tempo to the match. He played really well. I don't know his name but I heard him being called Mobs? The teachers won 5-2 but fair play to our year's soccer team who were just fantabulous!

I had spare time so i counted and bagged up all the money collected today from the student versus soccer match. I was supposed to wait until tuesday but next week will be too busy for me. So i totalled it up and once again, there's some cents missing, but i'm not going worry over that. There are three people who are supposed to pay on tuesday but the total that i just counted amounted to a spectacular €485.70, very close to €500. I'm thrilled and i was right Louise with my estimation today from looking at how many attending it.

Money plans!!

Well like i said the match is being held tomorrow and everyone will have to pay €2 to watch it.

Myself and Michael have changed our plans for collecting the money tomorrow. The idea was to go around to the classes before the match and collect the €2 but then we decided that this was too complicated and mistakes could be made!!

So now we are going to stand at the gate of the astro turf pitch and collect the money as people go in. That way nobody gets in for free, we can record how many people go and of course...less work for the finance team!!

Our end of year video plan !!

Yello, Clare here!

I've just put together a plan for the end of year video, it'll be discussed in more detail during the blastbeat meeting on thursday, but I think we have a basic structure more or less established. Everyone is bringing brilliant ideas to the table so hopefully the video will turn out well! We'll start putting it together by the end of the week and it should be finished fairly soon after. We still have to discuss music videos with our bands and film official interviews so all of that should be done over the next week or two aswell.I'm going to start bringing my laptop into school, because all of our footage and previous videos are on it and we have easier access to it than we would mr griffins computer.

Needless to say, the multimedia team will be quite busy over the next few weeks!

Well for the finals in Dublin, which are sooooooooo close, we have three teachers coming up with us because how dangerous would Audio Circus be on the loose in Dublin with no supervisor!!Thered be a few problems!!
So accompanying us are:
Mr Grifin(of course) hes been with us through thick and thin and its only expected thatd hed be on the day to stress us out even more than he does!!(only joking sir if your reading this):lol:
Mr O Toole, who has joined the Audio Circus team on the run up to finals to help us with our oh-so special surprise!!
And last but not least Mr Jean Yves!!This man has helped us so much throughout the year with our French and it only make sense that he comes to Dublin so he can translate for anyone french coming to our area!!:lol:

yes its true!! i was juggling in biology practising and of course.J.O.C. would have to call on me to show the WHOLE class!!..MORTIFICATION IS AN UNDERSTANDMENT!!..but i didnt mess up terribly and once i got going i was grand but i was soooooo red!! hahaha
but in the end i ended up showing J.O.C how to juggle himself and hes better than i was when i started..ahh! hahaha!!..
anyway suffice to say il be *fingers crossed* brilliant at da juggling soon but just ta say --> ya im not taking out cians juggling balls in english class again cz da lads..OMG..well lets just say people got pelted with juggling balls through no fault of mine!hahahaha..

heya!!!
im soo glad that weve gotten "our package" of stuff for the finals including tickets..etc as my idea of promotion can take place!
as it stands at the moment: im currently co ordinating with greg about his mime costume,ive finished mine and amy is making no changes to hers but there wasnt much need for her to.
the way i see it is, as myself and amy got soooo much attention when we were dressed up in town on the dayz of our gigs then what better way to get attention to sell tickets for the finals rather than randomly walking up to people going "will u buy a ticket 4 da blast finals in dub?".
.--->>The people will come to us wondering why we are dressed as two clowns and a mime..
and as an added bonus we gain huge promotion for the company as well as showing people we have a unique and successful way of promoting our company and that we are colourful..haha!!

Hey guys!!
Well i havent been on Blastspace in aggges because ive been busy writing a viral marketing report for Blast: Beat and finally its done!!Myself, Danielle, Karen and Christy have put loads of effort into it and hopefully itl be up to Blast: Beat standards!!
Not only was a viral marketing report to be completed (im still tying all businessy) but a finance report had to be done aswell!!I hear its an amazing 19 pages long and is Michael and Davids best work!!Well Done guys!!
As well as all these fantastic reports Clare O Leary (Art/Multimedia manager) is doing an Arts report and i havent heard much about it but id say knowing Clare its a Masterpiece!!

Ciara has been working very hard on her juggling act for the National Finals and this morning she was caught practicing in class....her punishment....she had to juggle in front of everyone!!

Poor Ciara was mortified!!

Anyway to make a long story short shes getting much better and her juggling act is almost perfect!!

I cant believe that in 3 weeks our fate as a mini-company will be decided! When I look back on this year its filled with fond, and sometimes not-so-fond memories but most of them are Blastbeat memories! This has been one of the most valuable experiences of my life and I will miss it next year! So much work has been put in by everyone in the company and I am so proud of what we have acheived....we are going up to Dublin on the 17th of May with only one thing on our minds and that is winning! i hope that everyone can see what hard work has and will be put into Audio Circus! We have thoroughly enjoyed this year due to being part of this competition and winning it would just be the icing on top of the cake! Because we are gracious competitiors I would like to wish our fellow mini-companies the best of luck in Dublin!=)

well as all of ye know...the Blastbeat National Finals are only just around the corner. They are slowly but surely creeping up on us! Now, everything that we have been doing all year is coming to an end but saying that, we have soooo much work to do in the next three weeks. Unbelievable! We are tipping away with the end of the year display and myself and Becca have taken on the challenge of arranging outfits(t-shirts etc) for all the company members to wear to The Tripod on March 17th! And I assure you it is not as easy as it sounds! This week now, Amanda is setting us all up with a PR source that we must all get in contact with to make Audio Circus' story more known around Cork! The EOTYP is also in full swing...We cannot thank Mr. O Toole enough for all the hard work he is putting into the presentation! It is going to be out of this world...and we have him to thank! We must also do up some reports for the EOTYP! We have loads of ideas and the next the next thing now is to get them up and running!!

..Another Camera Issue??

Yello, Clare here.. So I said I'd try to upload another few videos today but I think I may have encountered another problem with the camera..

I'll try not to bore you with the details..but this is the story..When you put a new disc into the camera your supposed to initialize it before filming anything, but it's looking like several people who put in new discs didn't initialize them first. If you don't initailize it, that means you can't finalize it..which means you cant upload anything to the computer, but if I initialize the discs now, we'll lose all of the footage that's already on the discs!!..Can yez see my dilemma here??

Jaysus! Paudie G will have to be consulted on Monday! Hopefully theres some way around it! Oh and cheers to Jess for her lovely-ness!
