About Us

It was a sunny day in October when Civil Slaves where conceived by Ross Leahy and Gene Carolan. The 2 men got Kate Connor and Brendan O'Sullivan in as guitarists and waited for the money to come in.
*JANUARY 2004*
When the money failed to come in, they decided they should actually practice. They did just that.
*FEBRUARY 2004*
Ross leahy leaves due to threats from Breifne who said he would kill Ross if he kept hanging round with those musicaly illiterate shits. Ian Hand is brought in.
*Half of 2004*
Civil Slaves are named in May, and are still playing crap unfinished originals and covers.
*SEPTEMBER 2004*
They finish their first original.
*MARCH 2005*
Brendan develops "American Syndrome" & retires.
*August 2005*
Ian develops the rare "Obsessive fishing disorder" and leaves.
to join Led Zeppelin.
*September 2005*
John Farrell gets behind the drums and progress is made fast. Civil Slaves get more gigs in a few months then they did in a year & a half...Here's the Revolution.
In short: We consist of: me, (Kate, guitar and vocals), Gene, (Bass, lead vocals) and John, (Drummer, some backing vocals).
We play a mixture of both covers and originals(none of which can be described as any particular genre). Hope you enjoy, josef goebbles is on our side.
