Last Stand Records Battle of the Bands

The Last Stand Battle of the Bands is coming to the Malibu High Theater Wed. May 23rd 2007 AT 6:00PM.

All people who want to listen to great high school bands from Malibu High like

MICHAEL CRAIG BAND, CATAPULT DA VINCI, and ZUMA

great bands from different high schools like the hip hop group M.C. from Santa Paula High,

or just want to have a good time, should come. It'll be a blast. These bands have a chance to compete for a trip to Ireland!!!!! So come and cheer for your favorite band.

Plus, we have special guest band and frequent head liner at the Malibu Inn - DELTAZ. Don't miss them. They're great!

Battle starts at 6pm and The DELTAZ play after battle until 8:30 or 9pm.

Hot Dogs, snacks and drinks will be available for purchase before the show from 5:30 to 6:00.

ABOUT US:
We Play Classic hard rock like Rush, Led Zeplin, and Jimi Hendrix. I am the drumer and one of the song writers. My Friend Philip is the bands guitarist, and is the best tapper on the map. Philip is also a song writer. Christan is the bassist, A K-ro-tay experter who is not afraid to show a stage presents. then there is are guest singer Ren who is the best singer of her age I have ever seen. Together we're Destination Unknown, a 70's and 80's hard rock cover band who are ready for any song that comes our way. We will be coming up with original songs in spring so come check out our songs then. By the way, I am also in Revolution Records, a blast beat company in California, so if you've got a band that would like to audition for the Battle of the Bands and live around LA, Oxnard, Thousand oaks, or any place near there, then contact me.

The West Coast Regionals are coming June 17th. You should be their at 2:30. It's going to be a great night full of music and then results for both the bands and the companies, so you really don't want to miss this.

Influences

Most hard rock in the 70's/ 80's. My favorite band is Rush. normally I like all types of music, exept for any kind of metal. I am usually open to new types and styles of music. All kinds of music and movie companies. I like 20th Centery Fox and Warner Bros. studio. I really like UTV Records because they worked on the "The Who Ultimate Collection. Probably my favorite music company is Mercury Records because they produced the Rush album "Moving Pictures", which is my favorite Rush album other than their new album "Snakes and Arrows".
