About us

Paradox was formed in late March, early April of 2008. The band consists of a friends who are interested in the same style/genre of music. Each member has the ability to play a different instrument and adds their own unique quality to the band. The band members are:

Karena - Lead Vocals, her vocal range is superb as she is experienced through many vocal groups.

Monkey - Rhythm Guitar; still a beginner in his field Monkey is picking up rather quickly in the guitar and keeping up well.

Josh - Drummer; Josh's skill on the drums are quite astonishing to watch, with amazing fillers.

Dougies - Lead Guitarist; Dougies skill on the lead guitar is truely godly, he can improvise and shred solos in a matter of seconds. His mastermind behind the creation of simple but catching riffs is what makes Dougies 'The Man!'

Our Influences is almost any decent rock band from the early 60s right through to the present day.

From The Stranglers, The Jam, all the way up to the great band 'Muse.' Some other influences would be some Local bands in the area of Belfast such as the great band Illicit!
